Drop-in replacement for bitnami?

Hi, are the helm-charts provided here drop-in replacements for the last "free" bitnami releases?

No, they are not (yet?). These charts are pretty new compared to Bitnami. All charts are rebuilt from scratch with offical docker images. So they may not fully cover the featureset of Bitnami. But it makes it also impossible to ruggpull the community with closed source images again.

This is also an opportunity to improve conceptual stuff and reduce complexity, as was achieved with Bitnami.

The company I work for (not cloudpirates) considered to fork Bitnami and replace the propriatary images. But the helm charts were to complex. It was impossible to reverse engineer all quirqs and features they implemented in custom startup containers, sidecars and entryscripts.

in a perfect world, we could be a drop-in replacement for bitnami, but as of now, you can already convert with a reasonably low effort from bitnami to us.
