- what if we changed the problem statement to that of helping small, under budgeted teams create consistent marketing for social impact?
- we aim our users towards organisations like ourselves, like women devs, junior devs, loveaidsg, non profit and societies — huge market
- we change the business model to a more humanitarian one, where instead of getting money from users, we ask explicitly for brand deals; for people to like and react to our content to help us, for donations, and for brand sponsorships, to buy merch and techie taboo etc
- this quells the dilemma of us being advocates for the harms of tech, while creating a product that perpetuates it and charges consumers directly
- this also protects ME when I do brand deals openly - i can say it is for a social cause
- we say transparently the money goes into development, which includes paying ourselves when the time comes that we want to make this full time
